Our Classes
Our primary mandate at Eden Village Prep is to provide a quality and affordable mainstream education to children in the greater Ballito community. Smaller class sizes, limited to 2 classes per grade, are a defining feature of our school that enables staff to learn the unique personality and learning traits of each child. We are committed to maintaining smaller class sizes and a compact school community as a primary pillar of our approach to contemporary education.
We have purposely created 2 class sizes to suit the learning preferences of different children.
Our Enhance classes are capped at 22 pupils, and have been created to optimise the learning conditions of those children that thrive in a more personalised teaching environment. Our Leap classes are significantly smaller, with no more than 14 pupils, and are specifically structured so that teachers can work hand-in-hand with pupils to overcome (leap-over) short-term barriers to learning. It is envisaged that these pupils will progress to an Enhance class within a 2–3 year timeframe.
