It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Eden Village Preparatory School. Since joining the Eden Village family in 2024, I have been continually inspired by the warmth, passion and sense of purpose that make our school such a special place to learn and grow.

At Eden Village Prep, we are proudly Brilliantly Small, Boldly Ambitious. Our smaller class sizes allow our exceptional teachers to truly know each child academically, emotionally and spiritually, creating an environment where learners are seen, valued and supported as individuals. We believe that meaningful relationships form the foundation of a successful education, and our dedicated staff work tirelessly to nurture confident, capable and compassionate young people.

Our vision is to ensure that every Eden Village Prep learner leaves our school as a happy, resilient and well-rounded individual who is fully prepared for high school and equipped to thrive in an ever changing world. We aim to inspire curiosity, encourage independent thinking and foster a lifelong love of learning within a safe and supportive Christian environment.

Throughout my 18-year career in education, both locally and internationally, I have remained passionate about developing schools that combine academic excellence with strong moral values and holistic learner development. Prior to joining Eden Village Prep, I served as Principal of the UK Online School, Purple Ruler, and before that as Deputy Head of Forres Preparatory School in Cape Town. These experiences have reinforced my belief that outstanding schools are built upon strong leadership, dedicated teachers and a shared commitment to the wellbeing of every child.

At Eden Village Prep, our ethos and school values guide all that we do. We strive to cultivate a culture of kindness, respect, integrity and responsibility, where learners feel safe to take risks, embrace challenges and celebrate one another’s successes. We believe that education extends far beyond the classroom and should develop the heart, character and confidence of every learner.

Continual learning and innovation remain central to my educational philosophy. I have completed extensive training in literacy development, inquiry based learning, thinking skills and educational leadership. As a certified Apple Teacher, I am passionate about integrating meaningful technology into teaching and learning in ways that enhance creativity, collaboration and learner engagement. I am proud that Eden Village Prep continues to pursue a forward thinking educational approach that encourages learner agency, intrinsic motivation and academic excellence.

In addition to academics, I strongly believe in the important role that sport and culture play in developing well balanced learners. Participation in sport, music, drama and cultural activities teaches perseverance, teamwork, discipline and confidence. We are committed to providing opportunities for every child to discover their strengths, passions and potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Above all, I am committed to ensuring that Eden Village Prep remains a nurturing and inclusive school where every learner feels valued, encouraged and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.
